Inception

So Firstly, I want to introduce myself and the story behind how all this started and explain my why. I also want to thank you for reading and showing interest in any aspect of the brand. I truly appreciate you and hope you enjoy your experience in anything we do. I will be using this platform to write about things I find interesting, whilst giving insights into what’s going on behind the scenes. I apologise now as this will not be the greatest blog you’ll ever read, however it is a work in progress that I will try to get better at.

Introduction:

I sit here reflecting on a Thursday night writing from my dining room trying to figure the direction of this passage of words I fully recognise and believe this is something I was meant to pursue. From early adulthood this has been a dream of mine, to start and build so why not start now? At the time I am writing this I am 26 year old lad that got fed up of a career that didn’t fulfil me. Having spent 10 years on a building site as an apprentice to a fully qualified plumber before moving into project management, its all I ever knew and subsequently what I thought I’d do forever, however in the last 3 years I had grown sick of different aspects of the different roles and expectations of the job which led me to quit.

Some people around me probably thought I was stupid to leave with no concrete plan but what’s the fun in that. From the moment I quit to this moment now it's proven to be the best thing I done and just wish I moved on earlier as I’ve found something I truly want to pursue. The art of fashion and menswear combined with my love for sports and their influence on my life so far. I’ve always been a sporty person throughout my younger years as a kid and loved the aspect of competition and that art in which you punish yourself through commitment to achieve an end goal, either individually or within a team. It's again something ive always done and grown within. From leading teams as a captain of my football teams over the years to individual training in running, each aspect is something that is fulfilling and relentlessly challenging. The pursuit of a common or individual goal is something that shapes me as an individual and will shape this brand as it grows. By coupling my love for the DNA of sport and my interest in fashion, to look and feel good in anything I wear and present myself in is the key driver behind me starting the brand. It has always been something ive remained conscious and strived to do and now I get the opportunity to develop it my own unique way whilst homing in on key influences from Sporting Heritage.

Sporting DNA:

Theres something distinctly British about the way we approach sport. The way we support it. The way we approach it. The way we view it. It’s never just been sport, it becomes a persons way of guidance, whether that be for an hour in the day, or a lifetime of support. From the way we develop traditions or enjoy the downfall of others, there is something so distinctively British about it all. Its never just been about the winning part, despite this being a key factor but also from the elegance of the sport, whether it be the traditions of Pristine whites at Wimbledon to the Stained Jerseys of Twickenham. Its always been about more than performance, It’s character.

Our Philosophy:

Our approach to this process is to strip each aspect back to it simplest form and attempt to achieve the highest possible standard within each element without compromising on craftmanship and value. This has been a process that has taken me 18 months to get to this point as I write this, whilst still having no product in my hand ready to sell. It has been a long and testing process however we are now ramping up the progress to be able to launch the Brand. Despite the problems of language barriers, manufacturers not following design information, we believe the product we are producing will not compromise on being luxury. Through meticulous sampling and months of testing we have been able to produce garments and accessories that we believe are quality in craftmanship, high in value and distinctively embody our DNA. The first inception of garments has been selected and developed utilising Premium cotton material; Timeless design coupled with the finest washes to create a product that doesn’t compromise on craftmanship. This is the standard we are setting for the Brand from the moment we begin. We aim to pursue higher standards as we grow and develop each item to be the best on the market and keep the end user satisfied with their experience. See we view the brand more of a community than just clothes and accessories. Something that embodies the sporting culture and embraces something larger than itself. Something that people want to associate and be remembered alongside, whilst wearing quality fits.

Coming next:

Over the coming months, we'll be sharing more content, behind the scenes and products associated with the brand through the development and growth phases of the ‘beginning’ of the brand. You’ll learn more about the brand, more about the processes and also the challenges of learning completely different skills to make this a successful brand one day. These blogs will become a monthly edition showing the most relevant updates and in the process hopefully make these better and more enjoyable to read.

The same way I started I would like to finish this, by saying thank you. Whether you become a Customer of the brand, a follower of our Social accounts or just simply a reader of these. In which ever way you show up for us we appreciate and thank you for the continued support. We hope you like what we produce and are always open to any suggestions from the community so we look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers
